Laura Carr has a BA from Western Oregon University in Art Education. She attended graduate school at Chico State University, Chico, CA in Art and Literature. Laura has a CA teaching certification in Art and English, grades 5-12 and is a Certified Massage Therapist (East West College of the Healing Arts, Portland Oregon).

Laura is the author of  the "Geyserville Gazette", a column in the Healdsburg Tribune.
